the start of a creative week

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
I had been meaning to write at least two more posts last week,
but things got SO crazy busy that it just didn't happen.
I've been sewing a lot, and in between the long stitching sessions in my studio
(involving lots of snow for the upcoming holiday season...)
I started teaching some workshops for kids over at the city's Modern Art Museum!
This new free-lance job is really lot of fun,
and it's good for me to get out of the house a little more often,
but It's all still very new and I realize it will take some time
for me to get used to this new routine...
But I promise I'll try to do better this week!
I've taken the weekend off (with my sewing room firmly locked),
so now I feel rested & ready for another creative week!
And to start off on the right foot
(and honour what -by now- has become a bit of a monday tradition...),
here's a mosaic of the flickr pictures that are especially inspiring to me these days!
I hope you like them...

What a wonderful news. I haven't a great relation with kids, but teach some workshops for kids in a museum sounds very nice, right? I'm happy for you. Have a great week. Great inspiration board! Hugs, Marianna:*

I think you'd make a great art teacher/mentor. What fun! I'm glad you stepped away from work this weekend. It's always hard to do that but it's something we MUST do or else we burn out. I hope you have a great week creating!

I loved all your items but most especially the felted rain clouds. I know how hard it can be to find time to create. I always plan to write more blog posts than I do too, so this week I wrote two posts for next week so I can just put them up.

Thanks for sharing my "Blue Building, Blue Door" photo. I'm so happy to hear it is doing its part to inspire :) My favorite is the mittens holding the snowflake...if winter really was that pretty I'd not complain about it so much :)
