the first snow...

It was snowing when we woke up this morning!
*
Not high up in the mountains, but right here in the valley,
and even though I know, of course, that it's just frozen water,
this snowy awakening made me so very happy...
*
So I ran to get my camera, and slipped out (still wearing my jammies)
to snap a few shots of this year's first snow!
It was so beautiful... quiet and magical!
*
Now seven hours later, the magic has turned into mush,
but I'm still happy about waking up with that beautiful white surprise!
*
And what about you?
What makes you happy today?

Oh Sweetie...
What a beautiful share. I love the first snow, falling, so clean, so fresh and SO magical. Nothing like a first snow for pics. Living here in the desert it has been over 26 years since I lived in snow. I love to visit it, just don't want to live in it. My lungs were to sick and wouldn't take it anymore. Love the warmth.

What made me happy today? Seeing your share of course. The photo was exquisite. Thank you for the share sweetie.

Many hugs and so much love, Sherry

Lots of happy things today - putting up the nativity at my parents' house, christmas carols on the stereo, sorting through my old toys and schoolbooks, and our first snow too!

Love the photo that you have snapped :D :D
Very dreamy and magical. I'm staying in a tropical country so it is sunny all year round =p
